Today, Alexander Stafford, Member of Parliament for Rother Valley Alexander Stafford, has secured a debate in Parliament to discuss the ban on fracking in Rother Valley. The Adjournment Debate is scheduled for the evening of on Monday 28th September. Stopping fracking in Rother Valley and protecting the ancient villages of Woodsetts and Harthill which are threatened, is a cause Alexander has been championing in Parliament, and was the first topic he raised after being elected in December, when he called on the Government to make the moratorium on fracking permanent.
Alexander Stafford MP will be working closely with organisations Harthill Against Fracking and Woodsetts Against Fracking ahead of this debate but welcomes contributions from all constituents.
