This week is Mental Health Awareness Week 2020 (18-24 May), and Alexander Stafford the Member of Parliament for Rother Valley, has published a free mental health booklet to support residents during lockdown.
This free booklet gives tips for looking after mental health when at home, mental health advice for older people, how to help other people with their mental health, as well as key contact details for help services. It is specifically written with the current Coronavirus pandemic mind, with a lot of people isolating.
Alexander Stafford MP said “The mental health of my constituents in Rother Valley, and of everyone, is a matter of great concern to me. Just like we must look after and nurture our physical health, so must we do so with our mental health. Now, during these unprecedented and difficult times, it is more important than ever before that we look after our mental health and that of those around us.
