Alexander Stafford is supporting calls by Cllr Simon Ball, Maltby and Hellaby Conservatives, for National Highways to look into the cumulative impact of the housing developments planned in the area on Junction 1 of the M18.
New and planned builds in Maltby, Hellaby, Bramley, Ravenfield, and Wickersley are choking our roads, increasing pollution, and risking safety.
A capacity review, better traffic management, and Noise Important Area designation for Hellaby/Bramley are vital to protect our community’s health.
It has long been recognised that RMBC and Labour don’t care about the cumulative impact all their plans are having on our roads and public services - so it is down to National Highways to act so our roads can cope, and residents are protected.
